Color Samples?
Due to the settings on your computer, the type of monitor used, and the amount of ambient light, a color sample can differ substantially from the actual stain color. At your local dealer is where a final color decision should be made.
TIP: Always take a sample outside and look at it in natural light.
How should I clean my floor?
¨ We strongly recommend that you use a prefinished hardwood floor cleaning kit available at local dealer or hardware store.
¨ Using filtered water will help eliminate spots and streaks.
¨ Clean the floor as directed on the product, and remember to keep the floor as DRY AS POSSIBLE to remove any grime or buildup.
¨ The picture at the right will ruin your floor!
TIP: Floors get ruined by water getting into the grooves between
board. Once there, it can “wick” under the finish, causing it to
debond and come off the floor. It’s tough to do, but it can and does happen.
Realities of Wood Floors.
¨ No Shoes - No Problems - You probably don’t dance on your dining room table with your shoes on.
MooseWood flooring is essentially furniture for your floor.
¨ Like a rock, only softer - Oxide finishes are extremely hard; they are also only 2/1000th of an inch thick. You will get dents if you are not careful because the fiber of the wood will compress.
¨ Its Alive, Alive! - Wood is a natural product that expands and contracts with the seasons. Therefore, you will get some gaps in the wintertime; regardless of how well you control the humidity of your house.
¨ The Dark Side - The finish on your floor will remain the same forever, but the wood will darken, or “mellow” over time.

Red must be the new White - It is hard to admit, but mistakes do happen. If you feel the product in the box is not what you ordered, STOP and check with you dealer. Almost all manufacturers consider installation to be acceptance
